Attention all adult/junior baseball players, girls/ladies softball players and friends/family of the club – we need you!
The club will hosting its final games at Western Park on Tuesday 25 August as a ‘Blue Sox Family Night’.
The idea is to get all the different sections of the Blue Sox Nation together for some fun and games, by forming two new mixed-sex softball teams to play each other.
If successful, we would look to hold more Blue Sox family nights throughout next season to mark the club’s 10th anniversary year.
The games on the 25th will run from 6.30pm to around 8pm, giving players the opportunity of a quick social drink afterwards.
Name the teams competition
Before the fun and games start we need your help naming each team. We will run a competition, where you can submit your team name suggestions and then put them to a vote.
The winner(s) will bag themselves an official Blue Sox hat or visor, plus a brand new Baden baseball and Covee softball to practice with this off-season.
Voting is now open and will close midday Tuesday 18 August, the public vote will then run afterwards in the week leading up to Blue Sox Family Night.
During the off-season, the winning team names will be immortalised with logos and t-shirts that we can use from next season!

(Rules: we are looking for brand new team names that do not have Blue Sox or Sox in the title, this will help us choose logos and colours for next season for each team).
